European Phantom Trek               28 days
Britain, France, Belgium, & Holland

This incredible 4 country tour (Britain, France, Belgium, & Holland) will bike through major cities and quaint villages to experience Europe's unique museums, monuments, people, and cultures.  The group makes a large loop; starting in southwestern Britain at Windsor Castle and Stonehenge. Then we ferry to France and follow the Seine River through Monet's Giverney, Versailles, and Paris. A train ride north takes us to Belgium to bike between the beautiful cities of Bruges and Ghent. In the Netherlands we'll bike through Amsterdam before we ferry back to Great Britain to cycle through East Anglia including Cambridge and finally 3 days in London before the flight home. .

Niagara-Toronto Trek              10 days

Bike alongside the racing Niagara River heading from Buffalo to Niagara Falls.  There we'll ride on the Maid of the Mist, hike in the Niagara Gorge, climb the Skylon Tower, and visit the Goat Islands.  Then we're off to the Welland Canal, a day at Confederation Water Park, and onto the Waterfront Bicycle Trail all the way into Toronto.  Once in Toronto we will shop in the trendy Kensington Market, peruse major museums, and visit the Toronto Islands and Chinatown.

C & O Canal Trek                       16 days

Imagine biking from Pittsburgh to Washington, DC (340+ miles) all off-road on the Allegany Rail to Trail and the C&O Canal Tow Path.  No cars or traffic as we leave Pittsburgh on trails winding alongside the Youghiogheny River to Ohiopyle, PA for white water rafting and Frank Lloyd Wright's "Fallingwater" home. Other highlights: biking through a 3/4 mile tunnel, riding a 19th century canal boat, and visiting the Civil War town of Harper's Ferry.  The last 2 days we'll sight-see in our nation's capital.

MASS Transit Trek                       16 days

Bike from one end of gorgeous Massachusetts  to the other. Pass through the rolling Berkshires visiting the Tanglewood Music Festival and picturesque towns of Lenox and Great Barrington. Head to the Connecticut River Valley region home to the 5 Colleges (Smith,  Amherst, Hampshire, Mt. Holyoke, & UMAS) and then on to Six Flags New England and Old Sturbridge Village.  On the eastern end of Massachusetts we'll bike the entire length of Cape Cod to the 'Dunes Edge' in Provincetown before ferrying to Boston for the final 2 days.

New York -- Montreal Trek            16 days

From NYC ride north through the Hudson Valley,   Adirondack Park, and visit the picturesque Lake Champlain.  As we enter into French Quebec province we visit European-like small towns. The ride into downtown Montreal follows an extensive canal network that has been transformed into a recreational trail.  Spend the last 2 days in Montreal.

Cape Cod Trek                         14 days

The ride south out of Boston takes us  past Plymouth Rock and onto Cape Cod.  We'll take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard and then Nantucket  to find awesome beaches, unique towns, and great hostels.  Back on the Cape, the Cape Cod Rail Trail and National Seashore Bicycle Trail take us through the fishing and resort towns of Eastham, Wellfleet, and Truro.  Provincetown offers amazing beaches, towering sand dunes,  trendy eateries, and the awesome sand dunes bike path.  We'll ferry back to Boston to spend a final 2 days visiting Faneuil Hall, Harvard Sq., Shakespeare in the Park, and trendy eateries/shops.

Pacific Northwest Trek               18 days

Biking north out of Seattle we'll follow the breathtaking views overlooking the Puget Sound through hip Washington towns and up to vibrant Vancouver, Canada.  Ferries will take us through the San Juan Islands and to the city of Victoria, BC and back to Washington to spend 3 days in Olympic National Park.  Biking south we'll visit  the historic city of Port Townsend, the lovely Birch Bay that features the warmest and safest salt water beach on the coast, and Vashon Island with a hostel that features teepees and covered wagons for sleeping  Spend the final 2 days sightseeing and enjoying great restaurants in Seattle.

Canadian Trek 101                    16 days
Niagara Falls, Toronto, & the 1000 Islands

Ride out of Buffalo on the international Peace Bridge and follow the scenic Niagara Parkway bike path into Niagara Falls.  Spend a day on the Maid of the Mist boat ride and hiking in the awesome Niagara Gorge.  It will take several days to cycle to Toronto and along the way we'll see the enormous lake freighters on the Welland Canal, swim at the Confederation Water Park, and bike the Seaway Trail.   In Toronto we will visit the Toronto Islands, major museums, and Toronto's Chinatown.  As we head to the 1000 Islands on bike paths and back roads we will find many beaches, and provincial parks.  Finally, in the 1000 Islands we'll explore a fort, island hop, and sleep in the famous HI-AYH Lighthouse Hostel.

New York RATS Trek                  21 days

New York Ride Across the State (RATS) begins in the northwest corner of NYS at the roaring Niagara Falls.  Ride along the Niagara River to Buffalo and follow the historic Erie Canal tow path across NY through Lockport, Spencerport, Brockport, and Rochester.  Take a side trip to the Finger Lakes passing through Geneva, Waterloo, and Seneca Falls stopping at the Women's Rights National Park.  Back on the Canal, head east to  Syracuse and through the scenic Mohawk Valley towns of Utica and Albany.  Along the ride south following the Hudson River we'll visit the grand mansions of Vanderbilt and FDR and through the Palisades to the GW Bridge for a final 2 days in NYC.

Hudson Valley Trek                   10 days

Ride NYC to Albany along the historic and awesome Hudson River.  In NYC we'll take the West Side Bike Path to the WTC site and ferry to the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island. Leaving NYC we'll bike over the GW Bridge and ride along the Palisades with stunning views overlooking the Hudson River.   Our ride will pass through some quaint villages along the Hudson and we'll camp at Bear Mountain.  Then across to the river's east shore the group will seek out the Clearwater Sloop, DIA Beacon Gallery, FDR Home, and the Vanderbilt Mansion on our way to Albany.  At our destination we'll explore the architecture and sites of this historic city.

Across American Trek                   65 days

Welcome to our toughest trip.  Cycling from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean along a 4,000+ mile northern TranAm route.  Ride through Washington, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Minnesota, and south under the Great Lakes. Follow  the Erie Canal bike route across NY to the Hudson River and a short 150 miles to NYC.  The adventures and experiences are endless, but don't kid yourself you must be in good shape.  There will no doubt be days when close to 90 miles will have to be ridden.  Days when you will face strong headwinds and mountainous terrain.  If you enjoy pitting yourself against the elements and find satisfaction in being part of Teen Treks most rugged trip, than this is for you.
